An Educational Forum for Individuals Newly Diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease
This forum is for those who have been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in the past one to two years and their loved ones. The program will offer valuable information and resources about Parkinson’s disease, with the goal to assist families in playing an active role in the management of Parkinson’s disease. Topics will include, but are not limited to the basics of Parkinson’s disease, medical and non-medical treatment, disease management, and community resources. You will have the opportunity to engage in discussion and interact with other individuals/families recently diagnosed. This program will be facilitated by the center’s nurse and health educator.

Cost: $10 per person. Educational materials and refreshments will be provided.
