HELP SUPPORT PEOPLE WITH PARKINSON’S
How Donations and Sponsorships Help MAPS Grow for YOU!
Increase the Number of Locations Where Free MAPS Programming is Offered
Currently, MAPS offers exercise and support programs in 15 counties. Our goal is to offer these opportunities free of charge to Maryland PD residents in every county.
Provide enhanced support to people with PD and their families
Enhanced support for people with Parkinson’s disease (PD) and their families includes providing education, support groups, counseling, caregiver support, rehabilitation programs, and assistive devices.
Increase the Number of Programs Offered at Each Location
Our goal is to double the programming we currently offer in the next two years. Ideally, we’d like to offer a variety of exercise programs at additional times and at each location to provide flexibility to our exercise participants.
Continue to Provide and Expand Expert Educational Events
MAPS relies on donations to sustain and expand expert educational events for individuals affected by the disorder. These events provide crucial resources, information, and support to enhance the quality of life for those living with Parkinson’s.
